Scholarship Awards

Award Recognition

We appreciate the effort and personal achievement of every student at all levels and abilities throughout the syllabus. We also recognise those who achieved at an exceptionally high level with Top Mark and Top Tier Awards.

Examinations take place from May – December each year.

At the completion of examinations, marks are collated to ascertain the top results for each grade.

Top Mark and Top Tier Results are announced in February of the following year.

Top Mark Award

This award is presented to the highest mark achieved in each genre and level. To qualify, the mark must fall between 90 and 100. More than one candidate may be eligible if multiple candidates achieve the same highest mark.

Recipients of the Top Mark Award receive an examination scholarship to sit the next examination grade in that genre (free of charge), a certificate of recognition, and a Top Mark Award badge. If the recipient does not use the scholarship to sit an examination in the following year, the examination scholarship is automatically forfeited.

Students must achieve in the 90s to qualify for this award.
